Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 14371 for users enrolled in the fast ring earlier today, and now the company is shipping another build, this time to the slow track.

Windows 10 Mobile build 14367, which was originally released last week, is now available for download for users who are subscribed to the slow ring. Usually, Microsoft only ships builds to the slow ring when it manages to address the majority of bugs and make the operating system more stable and reliable.

This time, improving the performance of Windows 10 Mobile is Microsoft’s main focus, especially because we’re getting closer to the launch of the Anniversary Update scheduled to take place next month.

No new features are included in this release, aside from the ones that were originally part of the build, including new keyboard shortcut for Feedback Hub on PC (so mobile users aren’t really targeted by this change, but it’s worth knowing that you can use the volume down + power buttons to quickly launch the Feedback Hub).

Full focus on fixes

On the other hand, there are plenty of fixes in this build, and this is the main reason everyone should install it – many users have claimed that this is the most stable build to date, and this is probably why Microsoft decided to release it to the slow ring as well.

For instance, it fixes quick actions bugs that were previously reported in older builds to provide a smoother experience when reading notifications. Microsoft explains:

“Quick Actions in Action Center that turn on and off different functionality in your device, like Bluetooth on your phone or Tablet Mode on your PC, now have a transient On/Off text indicator so you can clearly see the state change for these. We fixed an issue where if you swiped up on a full screen VOIP notification, the dimmed screen behind it would flash. We also fixed an issue where you may not receive notification toasts until the next time the Action Center had been opened if you had tapped on a notification on the Lock screen but then aborted the prompt to enter your pin.”

To get it, simply launch the phone update section on your device, but make sure battery level is above 40 percent or otherwise you won’t be able to start the installer.
