Uber ride-hailing service has recently introduced some new features inside its application. Now it seems that the company has decided to partner with Pandora and offer drivers the ability to find customized music stations while using the service.

The new service will be available in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, states in which Pandora is currently available. The service will be offered without any adds for the first six months. Uber currently has 450,000 active drivers in the United States, which means that Pandora could increase its number of users with this partnership.

Pandora isn’t the only service to have partnered with Uber in order to enhance the music experience of drivers and passengers. Spotify also has a deal with Uber for offering users the option of listening to music while enjoying an Uber ride.

The service is quite easy to activate, drivers simply need to connect their phones to the car’s Bluetooth, launch the Uber Partner app, tap on the Play Music button and log in with their free Pandora account. They can discover new artists and listen to various playlists, without having to switch between applications.

Just a few days ago, Uber implemented some new features inside the application, regarding fares. Uber will guarantee fares upfront but still keep surge pricing. However, the application won’t mention how much prices will raise due to the increased demand.
