Just now, ASRock has rolled out several new BIOS packages developed for a large number of its motherboards, which manage to improve NVMe, system, and DRAM compatibility, remove Sky OC function, and add support for 4K native HDD.
In addition to that, the present releases change CPU fan behavior and Instant flash function, add NVMe support and ME FW version in BIOS, and update microcode to 0x76, NTFS and Network module, Intel ME, and EZ-OC table.
However, bear in mind that not all changes mentioned above apply for each and every one of the targeted devices. Please check the description page of each model using the links below.
In terms of installation, you should know that the producer has provided 3 update files for each motherboard that allow its users to flash the BIOS through different methods: Instant Flash, DOS, and Windows.
Specifically speaking, while Instant Flash download must be extracted onto a removable storage and executed from within the BIOS setup menu, the Windows package is to be unzipped and run from a Windows operating system.
As for the DOS download, the file included within this archive must be executed from a DOS prompt. Either way, upon completion, make sure to reboot your computer and load the default BIOS settings to be sure no problems will be encountered.
That being said, from the links below, follow the one best describing your device model, download the file suitable for your desired upgrade method, and apply the latest BIOS on your motherboard.
