Specs and details on the upcoming Moto G4 continue to appear, the latest regarding an image of the upcoming device which was posted on Twitter today. Renowned leakster Evan Blass @evleaks posted an image of the Moto G4 and linked it to one of the earlier leaks about the Moto G4 Plus.

The picture shows the front of the smartphone which is in line with the Moto G series, when it comes to the design. Some rumors stated that the leaked image might have belonged to the Moto E, but the source made it clear that it was in fact the Moto G4.

A few days ago, images of the front panel of Moto G4 were leaked online. They showed that the front panel came with an opening for the front fingerprint sensor, implemented for user authentication. However, such a sensor doesn’t appear on the image leaked today, thus adding to the confusion.

Rumors say that the device with a fingerprint sensor will be a slightly upgraded version with a physical button up front. It could be the Moto G4 Plus, which is expected to be unveiled on the same day as the Moto G4. Press renders of the upcoming Moto G4 Plus started surfacing back in April, with an image clearly showing the upcoming model in the next-gen G series.

Lenovo will unveil the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus tomorrow

The two new models in the generation 4 of Moto G series have recently received FCC clearance and will come with 5MP in the front camera and 13MP or 16MP in the main, depending on the model. The next-gen Moto G might come with a 5.5-inch screen and 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.

The two smartphones will also have 16GB of interval storage, as well as microSD card slot for additional space. Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 should come with both models out of the box.

Lenovo is set to reveal the Moto G4 smartphone tomorrow in an event organized in India. As it seems, the next-generation of Moto G devices will be available in India first, before being released to other markets.
