OnePlus continues to surprise consumers, this time it posted permanent price drops on its website. The company’s flagship smartphones received significant price reductions, but they’re not the only products that OnePlus is now selling for less. Various accessories, like phone cases and power banks were also discounted.

The Sandstone Black OnePlus 2 with 64GB of storage now sells for $299 (€268) in the US, significantly lower than its price of $389 (€348) at launch. The OnePlus 2 comes with Snapdragon 810, octa-core CPU and 3,300 mAh battery.

The OnePlus X in Onyx and Ceramic is sold for $199 (€178), 50% less. The One Plus X in Champagne is sold out, so is the OnePlus One, as fans got the 64GB variant for $249 (€223). At this price range, the OnePlus X is one of the best smartphones on sale right now.

The OnePlus X comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, front camera of 8MP and rear snapper of 13MP. It also has a 2525mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal memory.

Discounts vary based on region, for example in the UK the OnePlus 2 still sells for £249 ($366), the price set in March.

Users who recently bought OnePlus devices get refund

The company is also offering discounts to users who have purchased OnePlus smartphones. Consumers who have bought such devices within the last 14 days must contact the OnePlus Customer Support to request a refund of the price difference.

This move seems to be part of OnePlus’s campaign prior to the release of the OnePlus 3. The hype around this upcoming smartphone has increased over the past few days, with information leaking on a daily basis.

OnePlus 3 is rumored to release on June 14 in an event that will be held entirely in VR. OnePlus gave away multiple Loop VR headsets that fans could use in order to purchase the device in a VR environment that represents a space station.
