Another day, another report about the upcoming OnePlus 3. This time, it seems that the company has finally revealed the launch date for its latest flagship: June 15. It was previously rumored that the phone would see the light of day on June 14, but now it appears that we will be able to fully admire the company’s pride and joy one day earlier.

OnePlus has revealed the launch date for the upcoming smartphone on Weibo, according to Mobipicker. The company has shared a poster with the June 15 launch date in China and confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will see the light of day in mid-June.

Last month, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 3 launch event would be held in a virtual reality space station, and the company gave away Loop headsets to users for purchasing the device directly in VR. The price is estimated to reach about $330, and fortunately, there’s no mention of an invite system.

OnePlus 3 will cost about $330

The launch event of the next OnePlus smartphone will start at 10AM local time and will be held at Shenzhen Universiade Center. The handset will go on sale the very next day on June 16 in China while it’s expected to hit other countries soon after.

Thanks to previous leaked specs and images, there’s little we don’t know about the OnePlus 3. It’s expected to feature a Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz and a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080p resolution. The phone will come in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and the second with 6GB of RAM. It should run OxygenOS, based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.

Furthermore, 30 lucky fans will be able to receive the OnePlus 3 for free before anyone else and test the device between June 13 and June 20. They will be required to write an in-depth review, but they won’t be able to keep the smartphones.
