One day after teasing an upcoming Galaxy S7 Edge with Batman logo, Samsung officially introduces the Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition, expected to launch on June 13. The package contains a Gear VR and other goodies that fans will surely enjoy.

Samsung has announced a partnership with Warner Bros and DC Entertainment in order to celebrate the third anniversary of Injustice: Gods Among Us with a limited release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition.

“We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and offer a special edition of Galaxy S7 edge for fans of Injustice: Gods Among Us,” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics.

The Batman-themed Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will be available in select regions starting June 13, including China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America and Russia. Samsung has mentioned that other regions will be announced soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition package will come with a deep black Galaxy S7 edge, but with a redesigned case. The smartphone will have gold detailing and an iconic seal on the back, inspired by Batman, of course.

The Injustice Edition will come with Gear VR and game credit

The smartphone will also come with a Gear VR, but only in select territories. Samsung is also offering Injustice in-game credits and Oculus VR content vouchers. However, products in the edition package may differ by markets and mobile operators.

The Injustice Edition will come with the same specs as the standard Galaxy S7 Edge, so users should expect to get a powerful Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 Octa and Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, coupled with 4GB of RAM, for an optimal gaming experience on a smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition will come in a special packaging with the Batman logo placed on top of the box, however, there’s no word on the price yet. The Injustice: Gods Among Us game is available for free on Google Play.
