Realtek has made available yet another HD Audio driver version, namely, which maintains support for Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems (both 32- and 64-bit variants) and might also add some small improvements.

Bear in mind that, even though this update might work with other operating systems as well, we do not recommend applying it on platforms other than the ones mentioned above. Doing so might lead to various malfunctions.

In other words, if you intend to apply Realtek’s release, first of all, make sure your system configuration is supported, save the downloadable package, and unzip it so that all files required for the installation are extracted.

Afterwards, locate and open the setup executable, follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful upgrade, and make sure not to interrupt this process in any way so that any possible problems are avoided.

Also, once finished, it would a good idea to perform a system reboot in order to allow all changes to take effect properly (if it isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, carry it out manually).

That said, download Realtek HD Audio Driver, follow all instructions highlighted above, and check our website as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
