T-Mobile is no stranger to offering entry-level and mid-range LG phones, with devices like the LG Leon LTE, LG G Stylo, and LG Optimus F3Q all currently sitting on T-Mo’s shelves. And now a report claims that they may soon get a friend.

VentureBeat says that a new device known as the LG K7 will be making its way to T-Mobile. The K7 is expected to be an entry-level model that offers a 5-inch display with a resolution of 854×480, which is pretty low by today’s standards. Also said to be included is a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and 5-megapixel front and rear cameras. Rounding out the K7′s rumored spec list is 4G LTE support.

Pricing info for the LG K7 is still up in the air, but if its rumored spec list holds true, it ought to be pretty easy on the wallet. The K7 will reportedly debut “in the next few months.”

The LG K7 certainly doesn’t sound like the most exciting smartphone ever, but along with high-end handsets like the LG V10, there need to be some more affordable entry-level options for folks whose primary concern is that their new phone be low-cost. With a rumored spec list that includes a 5-inch 854×480 display, expect the LG K7 to fill that role.
