With Apple launching its latest flagship phones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus later this year, pictures and information on the upcoming models continue to leak at a rapid pace. Now, a video created by uSwitch in collaboration with( ), shows what the new iPhone 7 series will look like.
Just a few days ago, factory CAD drawings of the new iPhone 7, indicating that Apple is close to launching production of its latest flagship smartphone. The images showed that the new model will come with a metal case and will be quite similar in design with the existing one.
Now, a 3D render video with the design was created and it best showcases what the new model will look like. The 360-degree view reveals that the camera module on the new device doesn’t protrude much from the chassis. However, it is said that the dual-camera would only come on the.
The iPhone 7’s dual-camera seems to be housed in a pill-shaped enclosure. Both handsets are exactly the same size as the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, although the headphone jack is missing from the new models. However, the camera opening on the iPhone 7 is slightly larger and placed in a different position compared to the iPhone 6s. This may point to a better quality camera, but that remains to be seen.
Very similar in design with the iPhone 6
The iPhone 7 Plus seems to have a Smart Connector, but the smaller iPhone 7 doesn’t. The iPhone 7 could have the same measurements as the iPhone 6S, specifically 138.3 x 67.1 mm (5.44 x 2.64 inches). As it seems, Apple is also planning a hardware upgrade to 3GB of RAM, as the previous iPhone model only had 2GB.
Considering this information, the iPhone 7 models won’t be much different from the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.
Still, rumor has it thatwill be released next year, with an edge-less display and no home button. The iPhone 8 would mark Apple’s 10th anniversary since the iPhone series debuted.
